Reservations are required due to the intimate nature of the restaurant. Our diary opens up three months in advance. If your preferred date is unavailable, please contact us to be added to our cancellation list at reservations@lumiererestaurant.co.uk.

We are happy to accommodate most dietary requirements and allergies with thoughtful adaptations to our tasting menus wherever possible. As each menu is prepared specifically for service, we kindly ask that all dietary requirements are communicated at the time of booking, as we may be unable to accommodate changes without prior notice.
A full vegetarian tasting menu is available, and we can often substitute unsuitable courses accordingly.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our cooking, we are unable to offer menus entirely free from butter, eggs, alliums or vinegar.
Please contact us prior to your visit should you wish to discuss any dietary requirements.

Several city centre car parks are within a 5–10 minute walk, including Royal Well (GL50 3DS) and Chelt Walk (GL50 3PR). Limited on-street parking is also available nearby.

Sustainability is considered throughout everything we do, from the kitchen to the garden.
Much of our produce is grown in our own kitchen garden, working with the seasons and using a low-intervention, no-dig approach wherever possible. This is supported by long-standing relationships with local farmers, fishermen and producers who share the same respect for land and seasonality.
Across the restaurant, we continue to refine our practices — from reducing waste and working with induction cooking in the kitchen, to using eco-pure water systems and supporting a range of charitable initiatives.
