Spring in our garden.
Peas, mint and nasturtiums — the first clear signs of the season ahead.
Nasturtiums naturally help deter unwanted insects, supporting the plants growing alongside them. Later in the season, their vibrant flowers and peppery leaves will bring both colour and a subtle heat to the kitchen.
This month has been spent establishing herbs such as rosemary and sage, now beginning to settle into the soil, while alyssum flowers quietly at their base.
Fragrance, texture and detail are slowly building — forming the foundation of dishes to come.
